How much does Invisalign cost in Manchester?

How long does Invisalign take?
Most cases take between 6 and 18 months depending on how much movement is needed. Minor crowding or spacing (Express) can finish in as little as 3 to 6 months, while comprehensive cases (Premium and Platinum) usually run 12 to 18 months. We give you a realistic timeline at your consultation, based on your iTero scan.
Does Invisalign hurt?
Invisalign is generally far more comfortable than fixed braces. You will feel pressure or mild tenderness for a day or two each time you move to a new set of aligners — that pressure is the teeth moving. There are no wires or brackets to rub the inside of your mouth, and most patients settle into the routine within the first week.
Can I eat and drink with Invisalign?
Yes — and that is one of the biggest advantages. Because the aligners are removable, you simply take them out to eat and drink anything you like, then brush and pop them back in. The only rule is to wear them for at least 22 hours a day, so they go back in promptly after meals.
Is Invisalign really invisible?
The aligners are made from clear, medical-grade plastic and are very discreet — most people will not notice you are wearing them. Some cases need small tooth-coloured "attachments" to help certain teeth move, but these are far less visible than traditional braces.

Do I have to wear a retainer after Invisalign?
Yes. Teeth naturally drift over a lifetime, so retainers are essential to protect your result. We provide clear retainers at the end of treatment and explain a simple wear schedule. Most patients move to night-time-only wear once their teeth have settled.
What is an iTero scan?
iTero is a digital 3D scanner that maps your teeth without messy impressions. It lets us plan every stage of your treatment digitally (the ClinCheck plan) and show you a preview of your likely result before you commit. It also makes your aligners more accurate and comfortable.
Am I too old for Invisalign?
No — Invisalign works at any adult age, and a large share of our patients are professionals in their 30s, 40s and beyond who never want fixed braces. As long as your teeth and gums are healthy, age is not a barrier. We check gum health first and treat any issues before aligner treatment begins.
